Dr Robert loves speaking about the intersection of the art and science in healing as “providing the inspiration to always explore – to learn, do, and be more.”
He has merged his love for nature and his ability to heal into a practice focused on transforming chronic vision challenges. This path became available once he earned his Microacupuncture 48 Certificate in 2018. Since then he has dramatically changed the lives of patients who were told to “go home and go blind”. As a young man Robert watched as his grandmother suffered from macular degeneration, and he decided to help those who were trying to manage the loss of their vision. “Once I realized how powerful Chinese Medicine was for clearing out vision issues I just wanted everyone to know. We have the most powerful medicine in the world and it’s up to us to educate people about it.”
Dr Robert has travelled to China to study with Jin Zhou a renowned expert in herbal medicine and studies research to determine the most contemporary and cutting-edge ways to help his clients. Using the foundation built thousands of years ago by Daoist physicians who were deeply aware of nature and the five elements, he uses research-proven and science-backed methods to help clients gain and maintain their visual clarity.
“Each herbal formula is like a little recipe. The most powerful herb in the formula may have side effects. These side effects are taken care of by the lieutenant herbs. Then the side effects of the lieutenant herbs are addressed by the seargent herbs. Lastly the whole thing is made to work beautifully with three that help everything work well together just like a recipe for a wonderful meal.”
His current focus is on are how herbs can be combined to provide protection from PFAS and plastics. He intends his clinic to become a hub for patients to use as a central point of contact for all of their research into their health concerns. The health care profession has broadened itself to incorporate and understand of both Western Biomedical and the Holistic/ Systemic view of the human body. This understanding enables the him to guide each patient to the best possible path for their health and well-being.
Dr Robert is a graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science (2025) with a degree of Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has also earned his Masters of Science and Oriental Medicine (2014) from Southwest Acupuncture College and his BFA from the University of Wyoming (1998).
Dean graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science with a Doctorate of Acupuncture specializing in Chinese Herbal Medicine in 2023. He graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in 2005 with a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.S.A.O.M, L.Ac). He is nationally certified by the NCCAOM in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Asian Bodywork Therapy and Oriental Medicine. He has been practicing and teaching acupuncture and related modalities for over 15 years in Boulder county. He has taught Traditional Chinese Medicine at CSCH (Colorado School of Clinical Herbalism) and also incorporates TCM theory into all of his Tai Chi, Chi Gong and Kung Fu classes.
Since graduating Dean Keller has been treating various painful disorders from Bell’s Palsy to “Bad Knees”. His approach is “Get relief and then dial it in”, meaning that immediate relief is paramount, then dealing with the root cause is next. It is best to educate patients and show them what they can do to feel better and have a longer and healthier life. Now, he has turned his attention to aging safely and healthfully. Through his other teachings of Tai chi and Qi Gong, Dr Keller has a wealth of experience to draw upon to help clients understand and mitigate the vision, prostate, or other aging concerns patients deal with. He believes in tackling aging’s challenges head-on by focusing on balance, mobility, inflammation, pain, skin health, and mental clarity.
His teachings and philosophy are rooted in TCM, Neuroscience and the latest advancements in medical research like Quantum Physics. Energy sciences prove the points that the ancient philosophy of Daoism espoused over 2500 years ago. He has seen energetic needling, Qi Gong, and meditation have healing benefits by changing DNA and the heart-mind relationship. From the time of the “Barefoot Doctors” who travelled the countryside helping and healing people to the most cutting-edge scientific discoveries, healers have continued to apply the same energetic theories to allow the body to heal itself. It has always been the medicine of the people and that has not changed. When Western Medicine fails Quantum Energy Health can give hope and a unique alternative.
